How do I sign up for a Tendo account using the Tendo iOS app?
If supported by your healthcare organization, you can sign up for your own account to log in to Tendo without an invitation. Notes: Not all health organizations support self-signup accounts. If your health organization is not available in the sign-up list, you must be invited by a supporting health organization or provider to participate with Tendo. Account verification emails are sent from the domain tendo.com. By using Tendo, you agree to the User Agreement, which can be viewed from the login page. Download App Download the Tendo iOS app from the App Store. Open App On your iOS device, open the Tendo app. Note: Depending on your device’s downloaded app settings, the Tendo app may either be located on the home screen or in the App Library. Sign Up Tap the Sign Up link. Find Health System In the search field, start to type the name of your health system. Select the full name of your health system when it displays in the list. Note: Accounts can only be created within supported health systems partnered with Tendo. If a system is not supported, you can search again if you are part of multiple health systems. Sign Up If the system you selected has partnered with Tendo, enter your email address that you use with your health system [1]. Tap the Sign Up button [2]. Open Email App Check your email to confirm and create your account. To open your device’s email application, tap the Open Email App button [1]. If your device has more than one email application, select the link for your preferred application [2]. Note: If you cannot find the email in your Inbox, return to the mobile browser window and tap the Resend Email button [3]. Please check your spam folder. Additionally, emails may take up to five minutes to be sent. Open Invitation Link In your email, tap the link in the email that invites you to join Tendo. Create Password In the password fields [1], create and confirm a password for your account. Your password must contain: At least 8 characters At least 3 of the following: Lower case letters (a-z) Upper case letters (A-Z) Number (0-9) Special characters (ex. !@#$%^&*) Tap the Continue button [2]. Set Up Device Recognition If you want to have your device use your fingerprint or face recognition for your login, tap the Continue button [1]. After you choose this option, your device will take you through the setup process. If you want to be asked for your preference later, tap the Remind Me Later button [2]. The next time you log in, you will see this screen again. If you want to continue using a password for your device, tap the Not on This Device link [3]. Verify Identity Verify your profile information. In the appropriate fields, enter your: First name [1] Last name [2] Date of birth [3] Mobile number [4] Tap the Continue button [5]. Authorize Consent Form You must consent to your provider’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) consent form. The content can be viewed by scrolling down the page. Designate Representative If you are not able to agree, expand the representative paragraph [1], and type the name of your authorized representative in the name field [2]. How do I accept an invitation to create a Tendo account in the Tendo iOS app?
If you are not able to sign up for your own Tendo account, your healthcare organization may send you an invitation to create a Tendo account. You can open the invitation via email and finish your account registration. Your registration will be completed in your mobile browser. However, for the best user experience, download and access the Tendo iOS app. Note: If you received an invitation from your provider to try Tendo to schedule an appointment, please learn more about scheduling an in-office appointment or a virtual appointment. Notes: You must accept your invitation and complete your account signup before you can log in. If you have not received your email invitation, please check your spam folder. Invitation emails are sent from the domain tendo.com. How do I download the Tendo iOS app in the App Store?
The Tendo iOS app is available for download in the App Store and is supported for the two latest versions of the iOS operating system. Notes: You must have an account to log in to Tendo, either by creating a Tendo account or by receiving an account invitation from a supported healthcare organization. Get App In the App Store, tap the Search icon [1]. In the Search field, enter Tendo [2]. When the Tendo app displays in the page, tap the Get button [3]. Install the app according to your App Store settings. Open App When the app has finished loading, tap the Open button. How do I use the Tendo iOS app?
The Tendo app is an online service that provides seamless, intuitive, and user-friendly experiences to simplify the healthcare journey and allow you to interact with your provider. View Homepage The Homepage is the default landing page for the Tendo app and contains all the information you need for your upcoming appointments and future care. Learn more about the Homepage. View To Dos The To Do list provides a step-by-step process to help you manage all tasks along your healthcare journey, both before and after an appointment. To view all your To Do items, tap the To Do link. Get Care To schedule an appointment with a provider, click the Get Care button. This button always displays regardless of your location in the Homepage. Note: Some providers may not support online appointments at this time. You can always call a provider’s office if necessary to schedule an appointment. View Care Journey To access the history of all your past appointments, tap the Care History link. Note: You can also access your care history through the Profile Menu. View User Account Your user account information allows you to view and modify data such as your profile insurance, care history, and more. To access your Tendo profile information, tap the Menu icon. The menu allows you to view and modify data such as your account information, insurance, care history, and more.

What should I expect when scheduling an appointment through the Tendo iOS app?
Tendo helps you find a provider and schedule an appointment using your smart phone. Note: The Tendo app is not a substitute for medical emergencies. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Note: Based on your healthcare organization, the functions outlined in this article may or may not be available. When Scheduling Your Appointment Select an available provider. In the list of providers, any provider who displays a Schedule Appointment or Schedule Now button supports the online scheduling process. However, please note that some appointment types may not support online scheduling. If an appointment type is not supported, a message will display notifying you that you must call your provider to make an appointment. Select an appointment type. For supported providers, you can schedule an in-person appointment, or if available, you can schedule a virtual appointment. Select the provider’s preferred location. You’ll be shown all available locations for that provider, along with the next available appointment date. However, you can select any date and time that is convenient for you. Specify a reason for your visit. Describe the reason for your visit; be as specific as possible. Schedule appointment. Schedule the appointment using the specified button. View appointment details. At any time you can view details about your upcoming appointment from the homepage. You can contact the provider via telephone, view the provider’s address location, and share details about the appointment with others. You can also add the appointment to your calendar. You may also be able to reschedule the appointment or cancel the appointment if necessary. Before Your Appointment Depending on your appointment type and provider preferences, you may be asked to complete one or more of the following tasks: Confirm Appointment. Confirm your appointment and let your provider know you plan on arriving at the indicated date and time. Confirm Medical History. Confirm your medical history information ahead of time to help your provider become aware of lifestyle characteristics that may be significant to your visit. Verify Insurance. Verify your insurance information before your appointment to confirm your copay and appointment details will be billed correctly. If your insurance information needs to be updated, you can contact your provider’s office. View Copay. View your copay and make a payment online. If your provider does not allow online payments, you can pay when you arrive at the office. Copays are due at the time of your appointment. For in-office appointments: Check in to your appointment. On the day of your appointment, check in to your in-office appointment and let your provider know you have arrived. For virtual appointments: Check in to your appointment. On the day of your appointment, use the link displayed in Tendo to view and access the link to your virtual appointment. Depending on the virtual appointment’s configuration, you may have to log into your provider’s portal. After Your Appointment View Past Care Summary. The summary of your visit will be recorded and posted when available. The Summary includes the reason for your visit, the diagnosis, the assessment, additional instructions, goals and discussion notes, if any. You can also view any vitals recorded at the appointment. View Past Care Results. If you have completed any lab work or had any procedures completed with your provider, lab results will be posted when available. Please be patient as results may take several days to complete. To be notified about posted results, please ensure you have enabled notifications.
